CROWSON Chin Rest Boxwood Violin Crowson
299.00 $
Description
Thank you for viewing my listing.
This is a CROWSON Guarneri model chinrest, a high-end part famous for being fitted to Stradivarius and other master instruments.
I purchased this on Mercari last year and used it as a substitute for two months while the metal fittings on my main chinrest were being repaired.
After use, I had the metal fittings replaced with new ones and the chinrest cleaned by Nihon Violin.
The condition is good.
There are some minor hairline cracks (please see images 9, 10, and 11), but according to the craftsman, they do not affect usability in any way.
Material: Boxwood
Weight: Approximately 70g
Current retail price: ¥122,650
It is expected that stock will decrease year by year, making this item increasingly difficult to obtain in the future.
