Custom-made by Chicago boutique Arthur & Lucca, this chocolate brown suit is made in a mid-weight high-twist wool from Marling & Evans. It’s more breathable but a little heavier than linen (notice the sun pouring through in the 4th picture) which means you can still wear it in winter. Great high-end details throughout: working cuff buttonholes, 10cm lapels, and 1/4 lined interior with super clean finishing. Horn buttons throughout. Same for the trousers. Higher rise, single reverse pleats, 1.75” cuffs (plenty of allowance for hemming changes), also the elastic waist buttons! I have always found these more understated than tabs, and with the elastic, a much better fit.
