Vintage HO Scale Life-Like GP38 diesel locomotive featuring the classic Santa Fe (ATSF) #3500 road name and number. This features the striking silver and red color scheme with red handrails and the Santa Fe emblem on the nose. Built on a classic vintage chassis marked 10880 and Made in Hong Kong. Condition & Cosmetic Details Body & Paint: The plastic body shell has minor dust build-up from storage and age. There is visible wear and paint loss on the front nose (specifically on the yellow Santa Fe logo and upper red paint section—please see close-up photo). Handrails: The red plastic handrails are fully intact on both sides, though they have some typical vintage warping. Chassis & Wheels: The underside is clean, with the original metal wheels and gears showing some run time. It features standard vintage horn-hook couplers. Testing Status: This unit is untested. We do not currently have a track setup to test running condition, so we are selling it as-is. It may need lubrication, contact cleaning, or minor tune-ups before returning to active duty on your layout.
