Offered here is a classic vintage 1939 Gruen Curvex Precision watch. This iconic Art Deco design features the famous curved Curvex case and original Gruen caliber 370 manual wind movement with 17 jewels. The silver dial shows beautiful vintage patina and retains its applied Arabic numerals, railroad minute track, and sub-seconds register at 6 o’clock. The case is a Wadsworth 10K gold-filled case. Case back shows normal wear and light scratching consistent with age. The watch has a clean crystal with a few very light scratches, but nothing noticeable on wrist. Has a new genuine leather strap and is currently running well. This is a fantastic example of a wearable Art Deco timepiece and a great addition for collectors of early American wristwatches.
