Lucky Charm Zodiac Wooden Prosperity Masu Set - New Year/Setsubun Decoration, Retro Display, Small Item Holder

This is a set of wooden masu (square cups) featuring the twelve zodiac animals. The items shown in the photos are all that is included. These were originally given out by Myodo-ji Temple in Yaita City, Tochigi Prefecture, along with lucky beans to those who requested purification rituals. The approximate dimensions are 17cm x 17cm x 9cm, with a wood thickness of about 1.2cm. Please judge the condition from the photos.

These are quite old and have many scratches, stains, and sun damage, but this adds to their unique charm. They can be used as decorations in homes or shops, as containers for small items, and will fit well in both Japanese and Western-style interiors.

I have lightly dusted them, but to avoid damaging the paintings, they will be sent as-is. Please clean and care for them yourself after purchase.
