Rooted Ficus Belize
Ficus Belize is an elegant houseplant with beautiful reddish variegation. Also known as Red Rubber, its leaves range from a chic dark green to a reddish-black, and its new shoots are a vibrant red, making a striking statement. You can enjoy the contrasting colors that change throughout the year.
It's relatively easy to grow, resistant to cold, and shade-tolerant, making it a great choice for interior greenery.
The parent plant is an excellent specimen with many red leaves.
This is a mid-cut, and for reference, the 5th photo shows a top-cut.
While Ficus Ruby is commonly sold in stores, Belize is a rare houseplant that's hard to come by (???????????)
You'll grow even more attached to it if you cultivate it from a cutting.
Why not try training it with bends or creating a unique, one-of-a-kind shape? ?
We recommend planting it in Akadama soil or cutting soil for about a month to let it acclimate. Then, sprinkle about 5mm of regular houseplant soil on the surface and wait another month before repotting into houseplant soil for safer cultivation.
