Ink pad from Shanghai Xiling Yinshe, with case

Ink pad (Inde) made by Shanghai Xiling Yinshe, a long-established manufacturer in China.
Birei: This ink pad's brand name
Vermilion Ink Pad (Shusai Inde)

My grandmother used to practice calligraphy, so I kept it carefully stored as is. The ink pad doesn't seem to produce much color. The cloisonné vessel is beautiful.
