[Takedomi/TAKEDOMI], founded in 1948 in Okawa, Fukuoka Prefecture, one of Japan's leading furniture production areas.
The company crafts furniture that combines the living material of wood with the skill and care of its craftsmen, primarily producing furniture for living and dining rooms.
Their products are made by preserving the traditions and techniques passed down in Okawa, augmented by the latest equipment.
The precision of CAD design, along with carefully selected materials and finishes, earned them high praise.
With a philosophy that the human is always the main character, [Takedomi Furniture] featured high practicality along with consideration for health and the environment. However, the company ceased operations in 2008, making it a rare manufacturer whose products are no longer produced or sold.
