Description
This is a Vietnamese ceramic spoon purchased in Bat Trang village over a decade ago.
While many Bat Trang ceramics feature vibrant colors, I was drawn to this one's simple and subdued tones. I'm selling it because I already own similar items and haven't had the chance to use it.
It has the characteristic thickness of Bat Trang pottery.
Each piece is hand-painted, giving it a unique charm.

Crazing: The fine lines visible on the surface are created by the difference in shrinkage rates between the glaze and the clay, and do not indicate that the pottery itself is cracked.
Pinholes: Small holes formed when air bubbles pop during glazing. These contribute to a rustic, handmade feel.
Water Absorption and Breathability: Due to the crazing and pinholes, Bat Trang pottery has higher water absorption and breathability than porcelain, making it prone to stains and odors.
It will be shipped wrapped in bubble wrap.
