Developed by an Active Care Manager: Wheelchair Scale - Solves "Heavy & Expensive" Issues for Care Facilities and Home Use!
⭐️ Measure weight while in a wheelchair.
⭐️ Can also measure weight while seated on a chair.
⭐️ Integrated sensor provides more stable readings than covers.
⭐️ Lightweight and slim design for easy one-handed carrying and storage.
⭐️ Caregiver can view readings at their feet.
⭐️ Automatic power-on when stepped on for simple operation.
Created by an active care manager, this wheelchair scale is designed for ease of use in homes and other settings.
Each unit is handmade, so shipping may be significantly delayed depending on order volume.
First listed in 2022, this is the 3rd generation model with improvements.
Over 1000 units have been shipped to date.
The board is 60cm long. It can measure wheelchairs with a wheelbase of up to 54cm and a tire-to-tire width of up to 60cm.
My Goal:
To make it easy and convenient for wheelchair users to measure their weight.
● Balancing Cost, Lightweight Design, and Rigidity
★ 18mm thick red pine laminated wood for the board ensures strength.
★ Aluminum square pipes are used for the frame, achieving a lightweight design.
★ Total weight is 2.4kg, making it easy to carry with one hand.
● Safety Features
★ Rubber feet are installed at the front edge to prevent the scale from lifting when a wheelchair rolls onto it.
★ A 3mm thick acrylic plate protects the monitor's LCD screen from cracking.
★ Cords are clipped at short intervals to prevent snagging.
★ Edges are rounded to prevent injury.
★ Wheel stoppers and side guides are installed to prevent wheels from coming off.
● Easy Storage
★ It can stand on its own, allowing for vertical storage when not in use.
★ With a thickness of 5cm including the wheel stoppers, it can be stored anywhere.
★ Its light weight allows it to be hung on shelves, door frames, or curtain rails using S-hooks.
● Ease of Use
★ Simply step on it to turn it on and start weighing.
~ Measurement Method ~
① Place the scale on the floor.
② Lightly step on it to turn it on and zero the scale.
* The unit may detect its own weight on the first use.
③ Lift the front wheels and place them on the scale.
④ Lift the rear wheels and place the entire wheelchair on the scale.
⑤ Stop when the front wheels reach the wheel stoppers.
⑥ The measured value will blink when it is finalized.
⑦ Subtract the wheelchair's weight to calculate the user's weight (no tare function).
⑧ The display will turn off after a while, but for continuous measurements, simply step on it to weigh.
Dimensions: 66cm x 60cm x 5cm thick (Height from wheel board to floor: 3.4cm)
Weight: 2.4kg
Receipts can be issued upon request.
Recommended maximum load: 120kg
Display type: Digital
