Vietnamese Traditional Craft Bat Trang Pottery Tea Set (1 Teapot & 5 Teacups)

【Rare & Beautiful Condition】This is a tea ceremony set from Bat Trang pottery, a traditional Vietnamese craft.
The slightly creamy, warm-toned base is meticulously hand-painted with the traditional Kiku Karakusa (chrysanthemum arabesque) pattern in a deep, beautiful indigo blue.
The fine crazing (crack-like patterns) throughout the piece and the gentle bleeding characteristic of hand-painting create a rich texture, making it a perfect item for those who love Asian retro or folk crafts.
The teapot is a dobin-style with a metal handle (tsuru) arching over the top. To make it easy to use in a modern Japanese home, it comes with a removable stainless steel tea strainer. The teacups are a set of 5, with a small and elegant size that fits comfortably in the hand.
