This is a rare VCO that's hard to find in stock. Purchased in 2022 from Clockface, a domestic store, for 52,900 yen. Selling due to dire financial straits. I'm also listing other gear. My finances are so bad, I've run out of tears.

Excellent condition. You wouldn't be able to tell it from new. Used about 20 times. No scratches or dirt.

The XR22 VCO FT is a unique analog oscillator capable of altering its sound through methods like AM (and ring modulation) and Frequency Shift Keying. It delivers an extremely analog sound quality, even with dissonant or intense harmonics, making it a powerful tool for synthesizing analog percussion.

AM
AM adds metallic harmonics and dissonance by controlling the amplitude of the sound source with voltage. You can even use the module itself as the modulation source for AM. The AM here functions as ring modulation; when the modulation is intensified to the point of negative voltage equivalents, it results in AM accompanied by an inversion of the oscillator waveform.

Frequency Shift Keying
This mode (FSK mode) allows separate control over the frequency during the rising and falling portions of the waveform. When the FSK mode switch is set to the lower position, the frequency is determined by F1 when the square wave output is high (during the rise of the sine/triangle wave output signal) and by F2 when the square wave output is low (during the fall of the sine/triangle wave output signal). Consequently, the triangle wave output will have different slopes for its ascent and descent, allowing you to alter not only the pitch but also the timbre by adjusting F1/F2.

In FSK, the waveform also changes with F1 and F2, making pitch control a bit challenging. However, the combination switch is helpful. When the switch is lowered, enabling combination mode, F1 can control both F1 and F2, allowing for pitch control while maintaining the waveform.
