With a discreet appearance in both design and performance, the TD Black spin reel range is taken to another level with the release of the TD Black MQ. Combining Daiwa's advanced ZAION Monocoque Body (MQ) design with ION V material, this results in a TD Black reel that is lighter, stronger, and more precisely engineered than ever before.

The biggest evolution in Daiwa's spin reel design, MQ allows for the use of larger gears to improve power, precision, and longevity, while its single-piece construction increases the body's strength and rigidity, eliminating unwanted water and dirt ingress into the reel.

The TD Black MQ's list of design and features combine the LT Concept and Tough Digigear for optimal reel power and refinement, but ZAION doesn't end there. The Air Rotor allows for perfect rotational balance and minimal start-up inertia.

Magseal body provides unparalleled protection from the elements, and ATD Drag delivers ultra-smooth stopping power and control. The LT Longcast ABS spool, machine cut screw-in handle, Air Bail, and CRBB bearings complete the extensive list of design features and technologies of the TD Black MQ, making this one of the standout reels of 2021.
