Description
Black terry cloth bar towel for Dirty Dick's Traditional Ale, gold mascot graphic with red lettering. Officially licensed Pub World Collectables merchandise, tag intact on reverse. 17 wide x 8.5 deep. Dirty Dick's traces back to a real Bishopsgate pub in the City of London dating to the 16th century — reputedly rebranded in the 1800s when new owner William Barker took over a former proprietor's belongings and leaned into the grimy, cobwebbed theme, making it one of the earliest known theme pubs.
