This antique late Victorian English blush porcelain covered biscuit jar / ginger jar (Shape 1412, Royal Worcester purple backstamp c. 1890s) features a melon-lobed body hand-painted with roses, forget-me-nots, and wild floral sprays. Finished with rich gilded acanthus leaf molding along the shoulder, matching rim, base trim, and an ornate pierced gold finial handle on the lid. Excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, or restorations; minimal age-appropriate wear to base gilt.
