Antq Unmarked Porcelain Ice Lip Lemonade Pitcher & Cups Set Art Nouveau 7-Piece

The exterior colors remain vibrant with elegant gold-painted accents. Note that the porcelain exhibits fine surface crazing throughout the glaze, consistent with turn-of-the-century ceramics. A 7-piece antique porcelain lemonade beverage set dating from the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 18901915). Striking ombre mint green and cream backdrop adorned with hand-tinted purple thistle and chrysanthemum floral. Highlighted with an intricate, heavy gold-gilded clover and ribbon stenciled border accents. The design is reminiscent of classic Gilded Age Victoria Carlsbad or R.S. Prussia Point and Clover molds. The pitcher is designed as an ice lip / ice guard lemonade pitcher, with a built-in porcelain bridge across the spout to hold back ice or fruit while pouring. Note: This set is unmarked with no manufacturer backstamps or artist signatures common for porcelain blanks imported and decorated in the US during this era.
