This is a tea caddy from Shinsui Kiln, run by the master potter of Tamba ware, Shinsui Ichino. It has a characteristic Tamba ware finish and can be described as being in the style favored by Enshu. The silk pouch has a striped design, reminiscent of styles that Shirasu Masako might have liked.
