This is the high-precision lock nut GHL-1 made by GOTOH.
You can use it for a long time with higher tuning accuracy and a solid construction.
This is a masterpiece that shows GOTOH's attention to detail.
Three spacers/metal shims of different thicknesses for height adjustment are included.
Fine adjustments can be made to match the instrument, such as by stacking them.
◆Both GHL-1 and GHL-2 are lock nuts with a width of 43mm, and the difference lies in how the nut is fixed.
The GHL-1 is fixed with the included screws from under the nut (back side), while the GHL-2 is fixed with the screws from above the nut (front side).
The FGR has a nut width of 41mm and is mainly suitable for Stratocaster/ST type guitars.
The GHL is a model with a nut width of 43mm and is mainly suitable for Les Paul/LP type guitars.
The first place where the plucked strings transmit their vibrations is the nut and the bridge. If you cut corners here, it's meaningless no matter how good the body or neck wood is.
