As stated in the title,
there is a space after MADE IN and then GERMANY.
This is just speculation, but it is thought that the item was originally manufactured in West Germany,
and shortly after reunification, the W that was engraved in the space was
intentionally filled in or erased.
After that, items with the MADE IN GERMANY engraving were produced as usual.
It really makes you feel the history.
While it's not an exaggeration to say it's West German-made,
please consider it as German-made.
There are some areas where the plating has peeled, and there are also dirt and scratches, but there are no functional issues.
