Vintage The Bear New York J. Petermann Co W Hoboken NJ Glass Seltzer Bottle

Description: Vintage heavy glass seltzer bottle marked with The Bear New York 26 oz logo on one side and J. Petermann Co West Hoboken N.J. on the other. The lid/lever apparatus is silver toned and marked The Bear N.Y. 50. The original glass tube is included. The glass has a slight purple tint to it which is hard to tell if it is the typical aging of vintage glass or residue from a liquid that was once in the bottle. The item shows typical wear for an item of this age, including scratches, discoloration, spotting, dirtiness/fogginess of the glass, rubbed finish to the logo, etc. I purposely did not wash this piece to preserve the integrity and signs of age of the piece. I did not test the lever apparatus and it is loose. This piece is being sold for decorative purpose only. General Information: Photographs are part of the description.
