Description
Vintage pair of Star Japan hand-painted ceramic figurines featuring a boy and girl in traditional choir or holiday robes. These charming mid-century candle holders showcase a boy in a bright red robe holding a large white candle and a girl in a forest green robe holding a smaller red candle. Both figures are accented with gold-tone trim and possess sweet, expressive faces typical of 1950s-60s Japanese ceramics. The bases retain their original red and gold foil Hand Painted STAR Japan labels. Perfect for a nostalgic Christmas mantel display or as a collectible addition to a vintage holiday decor collection.
