A set of 4 Oneida Unity made in the USA and they are heavy. They are stainless steel and while the forks and spoons are completely 18/10 stainless steel, the blades of the dinner knives are specifically crafted from a 13/0 or 18/0 grade steel. Manufacturers omit the nickel in knife blades because a nickel-free steel alloy can be heat-treated and hardened to hold a sharp, durable cutting edge. All items ship from my smoke free home.
