Vintage Franciscan Desert Rose Bread & Butter Plates – Set of 2  Beautiful matched pair of early Franciscan Desert Rose bread and butter plates, made in California.  Both feature the desirable early arched FRANCISCAN / MADE IN CALIFORNIA backstamp with the letter “T” and impressed factory number 13328. This backstamp is associated with Franciscan’s early California production, circa 1949–1953.  The classic Desert Rose design features hand-decorated dimensional pink roses and blossoms, green leaves, a warm cream background and sculpted scalloped edges.
