Vintage Mid-Century Eaton’s All Wool Blanket - Red Cream Striped 6x8.5’

Beautiful mid-century Eaton’s “All Wool” blanket in red and cream with classic striped borders. Measures approximately 6 × 8½ feet.  No tears or holes but minor stains.  This is a genuine T. Eaton Co. (Eaton’s) private-label piece. Eaton’s was Canada’s premier department store chain for over a century and was known for offering high-quality, well-made goods. Their all-wool blankets were among the better household textiles of the era — durable, warm, and made to last generations. The woven “EATON ALL WOOL” label is classic mid-20th century (roughly 1940s–1960s). True 100% wool with that characteristic traditional hand (a bit scratchy, as authentic mid-century pure wool is). Soft cream field with pretty pink stripes at the ends. Large, generous size that works well as a bed blanket or cozy throw. These original Eaton’s all-wool blankets are becoming harder to find in good condition, especially in this attractive pink-and-cream colorway. Originally retailed $15–$40 mid-century dollars (roughly $150–$400+ today) reflecting its status as a quality Canadian department-store textile. Excellent vintage condition with the beautiful soft patina that only real wool develops over time.
