Vintage (circa 1940s) authentic bronze-tone screw-back lapel pin issued by the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) of the United States. Good pre-owned condition with age appropriate wear. Please see photos. The photos are part of the description. Weight = 2.22 grams. Unable to bundle. This mid-20th century lapel pin features a small Cross of Malta emblem with an American eagle centerpiece and text around the rim denoting membership. It utilizes a threaded screw post and backing nut characteristic of military and service organization pins from the 1920s through the 1950s. It was worn proudly by eligible combat veterans as a formal lapel insignia to signify active membership in the organization. A fantastic find and perfect for the collector of United States military memorabilia.
