TITLE: Vintage Mary Engelbreit ME INK Sterling Silver Garden Girl Watering Can Brooch DESCRIPTION: Charming vintage Mary Engelbreit figural brooch depicting a garden lady in a wide-brimmed hat and patterned dress holding a watering can decorated with a heart. This whimsical design is sometimes called “Garden Girl” or associated with Engelbreit’s “Bloom Where You’re Planted” artwork. The reverse bears the Mary Engelbreit “ME INK” hallmark. Additional small marks are worn and difficult to photograph, but matching examples of this design are marked Mexico and 925 sterling silver. MEASUREMENTS: • Approximately 1½ inches tall • Approximately 1½ inches wide CONDITION: Preowned vintage condition with substantial natural tarnish and patina, surface scratches, darkened areas, and general wear. The pin stem and rollover safety clasp are present. It has not been polished so the buyer can retain or remove the patina according to preference. Please review all photographs closely for the hallmark, measurements, and condition. Ruler is not included.
