VTG CRYSTAL BUTTER DISH Gorham Althea Lid w Princess House Royal Highlights Tray

Up for sale is a gorgeous vintage crystal covered butter dish assembly. ** Please note that this is a beautiful marriage set—the heavy lidded top and the bottom tray are from two different vintage makers, but they fit together beautifully and look stunning on display! ** The heavy domed lid features the elegant, discontinued Gorham Althea pattern with deep vertical cuts and a classic scalloped rim. The rectangular base tray features an intricate, light-refracting starburst / sunburst pattern cut into the bottom. The base is from Princess House “Royal Highlights” creamer and sugar bowl set (listed separately). Together, they create a sparkling, classic look perfect for holiday tablescapes, traditional brunches, or everyday luxury. Lid Pattern: Gorham Crystal Althea Base Pattern: Princess House “Royal Highlights” Material: Heavy Lead Crystal / Cut Glass Excellent vintage condition. There is a small air bubble in the tray. Please see pictures. ** I didn’t realize that the base was actually the tray that’s meant to go with the creamer and sugar bowl set until after I had already written up that listing and was starting to write up this one. - If you are interested breaking up this listing or adding the tray from this listing to the set it actually belongs to, just message me and I’ll be happy to swap things around. ** Will be wrapped securely in multiple layers of bubble wrap for a safe delivery. Feel free to message me with any questions or reasonable offers!
